Defined as medical treatment that unites practices and treatments from both alternative medicine and conventional medicine, integrative medicine emphasizes the relationship between the patient and the practitioner and leverages years of tradition as well as evidence-based medicine to achieve optimal healing. Integrative medicine combines pharmacologic agents, surgery, medical devices, herbal medicine, talk therapy, diet, and nutrition with the goal of achieving an appropriate and individualized therapeutic approach to health.
Kerilyn is a native English speaker with over 20 years of translation and editing experience and a full-time translator of more than 400,000 words annually.
